I would not recommend Dauman Electric to anyone for their electrical needs.
I really wish my original electrician didn't retire!! I will miss him! I have been in the apartment industry for over 17 years and have never been treated so rudely by a company. What matters most to me is making sure that my tenants are taken care of by a respectful and reliable company. Schedule changes are a necessity in business, however when that occurs one would think a company would have a good communication plan in action so that all parties can be properly notified....and a company certainly should be polite to their clients.
I had a scheduled service call. Electrician hadn't showed up 2 hours after appointment was scheduled for. I called to checkin and see what time they are looking at so I could refigure my schedule. I was told by the person answering the phone that they were one van down and running late. I understood, but I also needed to have an idea on when I needed to be on location for the service and was trying to get a ball park so I could re-notify my tenants and so that I could be available to meet the electrician. Instead of offering me a new time window, the gal on the phone was very rude and began to lecture me on how service calls work. I told her I understood that and didn't need her condescending comments that I was just trying to plan. The gal then hung up on me. Needless to say, I have a different electrician coming in this afternoon who was more than happy to help.
We have a brand new home, but we're not happy with the electric job done by the builder's electrician. Having heard good things about Dauman Electric, we called Dauman Electric and asked them to come to the house. We explained our needs across the two levels of our home. The guy showed up on time and with a pleasant introduction. This was a relief as we knew we would not be able to be home when the work was being done. He could not have been more courteous. He immediately put on a pair of shoe coverings which is more than I can say for recent appliance repairmen and cable guys. We could tell the Dauman guy knew his stuff. While he listened to what we wanted, he provided input and recommendations for options we didn't know were possible. We were so excited to get started and went ahead with scheduling the work. After being scheduled, two guys showed up in the time planned. Prior to leaving for work, we were shown the parts that were going to be installed, allowing us to be sure with our requests. We found these guys were very trust-worthy. After the first day's work, we had thought of a couple more things we wanted done. No problem! The guys finished and did an awesome job. I could not believe it, but we even received a follow-up call to make sure we were happy with the work. Wow, there are still businesses that understand what 'service' is! Not sure about the other comment posted, but based on our experience, we would (and have) recommended Dauman to a friend.

Call ...Showed up within 1/2 hour. Got us running until the specialized parts came in. Installed the part the following business day. Can't thank Reggie enough. Would of clicked on more stars if they had them.
